Lets go back in time on Tuesday December 2nd 2025 when the ILRMS will be celebrating the 48th year since the Steam Locomotives Wallaby and Burra arrived at there new home at Albion Park from the AI&S Visitors Centre on December 1st 1978 and also as part of the celebrations on the day we will pay tribute to the AIS Traffic Department for a great day out..
On there arrival on December 1st 1978 is that Burra went on her journey to be restored and operational and Wallaby was placed on display at the front of the ILRMS and is the Societies front icon.
On the day there will be train rides, food sales, and stories to tell.
